Much ado about Love

Lately I have been thinking a lot about love, I see all of these people around me falling in and out of "love" and I always think "that's what I want. I want someone to love me. I want someone to hold in my arms. I want to touch her hair and want to find creative ways to express my love for her. I want to send her flowers for no reason. I want to cook for her. I want Love! But the more I think about it, the more I realize, why want to love someone right now when it may not even be the right girl to love. I would rather wait for my love and have it be true rather than create this false reality and eventually lose what I was looking for. I guess I will Just have to wait.

First Post!

Hokay. So... I am watching Julie and Julia (I love cooking) and it has inspired me. Whenever I cook something good, I am going to put it up on my blog.

The first one:
Raspberry Marinated Chicken with Boxed Rice Pilaf
6 chicken Breasts
1 half bottle of Raspberry Walnut Dressing
1 bottle of Raspberry Pecan Vinagrette
2 handfulls of Shelled Pecans
Red Wine
Swig of Olive Oil

1. Mix the Dressing and Vinagrette in a Large Ziploc Bag. Add the Defrosted Chicken and let marinate in the fridge for about... well however long you want to.
2. When done, pull out of the fridge and put it into an oiled dish and preheat the oven to 350. Pour half of the extra dressing in the pan over the chicken. Then Sprinkle 1 handful of pecans on the birds. Put in the oven for about 30 minutes. Now Follow the directions on the Rice Pilaf Box.
3. Every 10 Minutes. Ladle some dressing from the dish onto the chicken.
4. In a medium saucepan, add 1 handful of pecans with a little Olive Oil. Simmer for about a minute. Then add 2 swigs of red wine. Then add the rest of the leftover dressing.
5. Pull out the Chicken and then serve up with the rice and sauce.
